The processing plant constructed and commissioned differed greatly from that developed during the Feasibility Study and was under achieving in throughput, production and efficiencies. 

​

Scope of work included:

• Development and management of a comprehensive rectification program

• Implementing changes to the Dense Media Separation (DMS)

• The introduction of a “Fines” classification circuit

• Optimizing ball mill circuit (increased throughput to 120% of nameplate)

• A complete re-configuring desliming cyclone circuit.

• Introduction of froth pumps to replace poorly designed gravity flow system

• Replaced thickener underflow pumps and improved operating performance

• Interim Plant Manager (during recruitment search)
